  1. RANDOLPH (1798), son of Henry and Phebe, was born August 29, 1798 in or near Princeton, New Jersey, and died January 10, 1872 in Lodi, Washtenaw Co., Michigan aged 73 years 4 months and buried in Lodi Cemetery, Washtenaw Co., Michigan.  He married MARY “POLLY” GEDDES October 10, 1821 in Seneca County, New York, daughter of JOHN GEDDES and PRUDENCE SMALLEY.  She was born July 03, 1799 in Morris, Morris Co., Pleasant Valley, New Jersey, and died July 31, 1884 in Lodi, Washtenaw Co., Michigan  and buried in the Lodi Cemetery, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  2. SARAH JANE (1800) was born in New Jersey, and died 1875 in Varick, Seneca County, New York.  Sarah is buried in Union Cemetery, Ovid, New York.  About 1817 or 1818 she married JONATHAN OGDEN.  One of their sons, Charles, was born in 1818.   Jonathan was born 1792 in Chenango County, New York, and died 1874 in Varick, Seneca County, New York.
  3. Unknown Girl ( Bet. 1795-1805). 16-26 on 1820 census.
  4. Unknown Girl (Bet. 1805-1811). 10-16 on 1820 census.
  5. CHARLES (1815) was born March 01, 1815 in Romulus, Seneca County, New York, and died December 10, 1901 in Varick, Seneca County, New York; Burial: Lot 307, Mount Green Cemetery, Varick, New York.   Charles was a ships carpenter.  He married SARAH KAIN/CAIN Bef. 1849, daughter of JAMIES CAIN and ELLEN QUACKENBUSH.  She was born November 11, 1833 in Princeton, New Jersey, and died July 27, 1912 in Varick, Seneca County, New York; Burial: July 29, 1912, Lot 307, Mount Green Cemetery, Varick, New York.  {There is another grave marker in the same cemetery where Charles is buried, in Lot 126, for a Phebe Davis, wife of Charles Davis, daughter of John and Lydia Brown, died 7 Mar. 1845 aged 24.  There is the possibility this “might” be the first wife of Charles but no proof has been found. Charles’ wife Sarah was much younger than he.} On the 1860 census Charles and family are living in Varick, Seneca County, NY, but prior to 1870 they left for New Brunswick NJ as they appear on the 1870 census there.  On the 1880 census, Charles and family are still living in New Brunswick, Middlesex, New Jersey where Charles is a ships carpenter, children Kate works in a milinary store, Mordecai is a telegraph operator, Searing E.P. works in a hosery factory and George works in a needle factory. By the year 1900, the family is back in Varick, NY.  Three granddaughters, Grace E. (18), Florence M. (17) and Ethel (11), {I assume they are Mordecai and Florence’s children (since one is named Florence), and are living with Charles (85) and his wife Sarah (68). Charles’s daughter Katherine is also present in the household.  {I wonder what happened to Mordecai and Florence?  I have also not been successful in tracking the youngest son George W.}.
  6. Unknown Boy (Bet. 1811-1820). Under 10 on 1820 census.
  7. Unknown Boy (Bet. 1811-1820). Under 10 on 1820 census.   {I have no definitive proof but I suspect that one of these boys might be George W.  Davis.  What somewhat arouses my interest is a notice sent to me by a NY lookup volunteer; quote: George Davis of Romulus married Elizabeth Williams of Romulus; newspaper “Seneca Farmer and Waterloo Advertiser”; January 27, 1830; endquote.  A George W. Davis appeared on the 1830 census, in Varick aged 15-19, with one woman aged 20-29, in the same village as Randolph Davis.  Could this George be Randolph’s younger brother.  This would be about the right age to match one of Henry’s under 10 years old sons on the 1820 Romulus census.   It’s also interesting that Henry’s son Randolph named his third son George A., as well as Henry’s son Charles naming his third boy George W.  This is purely conjecture and “what-if” thinking though.}
